The Model Village - 41 Minutes Away

The Model Village is a one-ninth scale replica of the heart of the beautiful Cotswold village of Bourton-on-the-Water, containing all the buildings from the Old Water Mill (now the Car Museum) down to the Old New Inn and the ford. The village was created by a previous landlord of the Old New Inn, taking local craftsmen five years to build, and it was officially opened on the Coronation Day of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (the late Queen Mother) in 1937.

Summer Events At Blenheim

Spring Jousting Tournament
5th –7th May 2018
Join us on the South Lawn for a mighty jousting tournament featuring 'The Knights of Royal England'.
The weekend will be packed with action and entertainment, including falconry displays, archery, puppet shows, jesters, and knights on horseback charging in the traditional tilt, and battling on foot with the mighty mace and quarter staff.

Bloodwise Blenheim Palace Triathlon
2nd &3rd June 2018
This hugely popular sporting event welcomes thousands of competitors and spectators every year to the stunning surroundings of Blenheim Palace. 
Starting with a swim in the Great Lake, the competitors then enter the 'transition' area in the Great Court where they collect their bikes for the cycling section around the Park. The bikes are then returned to the Great Court and their run begins around the Queen Pool with the finish on the road leading away from the Palace.
