Preparations for Fairport Convention’s 37th Cropredy Convention music festival are well underway for 2017 which also sees the band celebrating their Golden Anniversary –the first-ever Fairport gig having taken place on 27 May 1967 in North London. The band have announced a number of acts due to appear at the three-day event.

The Model Village - 41 Minutes Away

The Model Village is a one-ninth scale replica of the heart of the beautiful Cotswold village of Bourton-on-the-Water, containing all the buildings from the Old Water Mill (now the Car Museum) down to the Old New Inn and the ford. The village was created by a previous landlord of the Old New Inn, taking local craftsmen five years to build, and it was officially opened on the Coronation Day of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (the late Queen Mother) in 1937.

Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials

Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials 13th - 17th September
Returning for its 27th year, the International Horse Trials are a must for any eventing enthusiast. The competition is now firmly established in the eventing calendar, attracting the World's best riders and thousands of spectators who come each year to watch the five-day event. The first two days of the International Horse Trials consist of Dressage competitions, with Cross Country and Show Jumping running on the last two days. We will also host the finale of the Event Rider Masters series.

FriendsFest At Blenheim Palace

FriendsFest 18th-27th August,
FriendsFest is a celebration of all things Friends, inviting visitors to get together with their friends and immerse themselves in the world made famous by the iconic TV show. The 2017 tour will treat visitors to fan favourites from previous years including Monica’s apartment, Central Perk, Monica’s Moon-Dance Diner, Ross and Rachel’s Vegas Wedding Chapeland recreate the titles. This year, fans can also visit a full scale set of Joey and Chandler’s apartment complete with corridor leading to Monica’s apartment, snap the ultimate throwback photo at the gang’s high school prom and grab a drink in the newly enhanced Chick and Duck bar.
