The Model Village is a one-ninth scale replica of the heart of the beautiful Cotswold village of Bourton-on-the-Water, containing all the buildings from the Old Water Mill (now the Car Museum) down to the Old New Inn and the ford. The village was created by a previous landlord of the Old New Inn, taking local craftsmen five years to build, and it was officially opened on the Coronation Day of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (the late Queen Mother) in 1937.

Following a spectacular first event, our Formal Gardens will light up once again for an unforgetable after-dark festive trail of lights.
The lake will be aglow with brightly-lit boatds and dancing fopuntain jets, and the woodland accross the great Lake will spring to life in time to much loved christmas music.

As autumn draws in and the nights become longer, we have a delightfully spooky itinerary of events and activities to entertain your little ghouls during October Half Term.
Hop on board the ghost train to go through a creepy tunnel to the Pleasure Gardens where a bone-anza of activities are to be found.
Families can lurk around the Labyrinth or take the Mini-beasts Trail, and there will be a whole host of treats on offer in the Pleasure Gardens Deli including ice-scream and toffee apples, with pumpkin carving too*!
Head to the cinema in the Stables Courtyard for classic Halloween storytelling, and there will be Spooky Tours running throughout the week with terrorific candlelit tours on selected dates...
British Heart Foundation Half Marathon

Get fit and help save lives by raising vital funds to beat heart disease!
Join the Blenheim Palace Half Marathon, starting outside the main gates of the Palace where this magnificent route runs through the beautiful Parkland of the Blenheim Palace Estate and surrounding villages.
The popular 10km route will also start outside the main gates of the Palace, and is great for aspiring runners or those not looking to run the full Half Marathon course.
Come along as a family and enjoy a range of activities as you warm up for the 2km Family Fun Run, finishing in front of the Palace alongside the 10km and Half Marathon runners.
Please note:runners must be at least 17 years old to take part in the Half Marathon and 16 years of age to take part in the 10km event. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times
